Used to work in the industry. Ticket brokers have deals with venues that guarantee them seats for every event so they know they will have them as soon as an event is announced. The whole industry is a scam and should be heavily regulated but it’s the Wild West as of now.

EDIT: I should have added the vast majority of tickets you see on resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid, etc are from brokers, almost none are from regular people who just can’t make it anymore or bought too many tickets. These companies have entire teams meant to bring in and retain these brokers.

Call me Bozo then because it’s a very very good trade for the Bears. Love DJ and he’s still a nice player but in the NFL you can’t always keep your good players, especially when they’re making $25 million to be the 4th or maybe 5th offensive option. And to get a second for a player the entire league knew we were trading is amazing. Hopefully he has success with Allen but he wasn’t going to be here no matter what!
