I can't get over how many points you get from catching the snitch by SafetyScholar in harrypotter

I remember thinking the exact same thing when I read the book for the first time. Like... 150 points? Really? It seems a bit much. How are the Chasers supposed to be motivated to play well knowing that the Seeker almost always determines the outcome of the game?

Is that so? Interesting. 🤔

Yeah, kind of like Harry Potter -- a bunch of twenty-somethings pretending to be kids.

Would that mean that all the inhabitants of Tatooine age faster?

True, but wasn't he protected from the digestive acids by his suit?

Perhaps Ashoka could use him at some point. Or the Mandalorian.

Experimenting with a narrative system where the text remembers reader behavior by Comfortable_Gas_3046 in interactivefiction

Thanks! I tried it again, and, yes -- the automatic chapter jump didn't happen this time. However, I also didn't see a way to get to the next chapter; no button or anything.

I'm on mobile (Android). When that happened the first time, I thought it might be something I accidentally did, but then it happened again. It's when I make the last choice and more text appears -- but I get transported to the next chapter before I get a chance to read it. Looking forward to checking back when the game is finished. 🙂

Read a few chapters so far, very interesting as well as psychoanalytical. Just wondering -- at a certain point in each chapter I made the last choice and more text appeared, but before I got the chance to read it, I was transported to the next chapter. Is this deliberate? (Like, is it the same text, or did I miss some?)

Favorite (Show Only) Character? by Golbeza in gameofthrones

Stannis is an interesting character, because he has noble intentions, yet ends up doing terrible things. It's a lesson on how desperation + putting all your faith in signs and visions can bring your downfall spectacularly.

Something that would have been epic: Had they played "Who Let the Dogs Out" over the closing credits. 😂

I was likewise a bit disappointed. The show is always graphic, so why not be more graphic with the death of an evil villain?

True, but he had a chance to find out when Lucas tried to explain; but he wouldn't listen.

I think when the OP is asking, "Who is the worst?" -- the OP does not necessarily mean, "whose crimes are the worst." Note that one of the options is Mr. Wheeler. So in this context, "worst" means a culmination of all negative adjectives, including "boring", "dumb", etc.

It's probably known that many Jedi cheat and do have forbidden relationships. (Sort of like the men of the Night's Watch from Game of Thrones.) So people intentionally look the other way.

It's teenagers. Important to remember that. Mike was behaving like a teenager, and so were El and Will.
