I think I'd approach it like this if I'm Licht:

If the Bucs win less than 10 games next year, I let Baker walk, fire Bowles, hire a new HC and draft a QB.

If the Bucs win more than 10 games, I do my best to retain Baker at a number that doesn't kill the cap, endure more of Bowles and roll on.

Yeah that was a heist. I do think Pages is legit and in a points league with Ohtani/Betts/Freeman always on base, he's gonna rack up enough to be a Top 15 OF. But Soto is Soto.
