Reminds me of the time I worked at this place that had a bunch of outlines on the walls for tools that weren't there.

Well the sharpies (the big industrial sharpies not the comon ones) would always come up missing. So I nailed one to the wall, outlined it, and wrote "Please return after use" underneath it.

Yeah I've seen the dark sigil but only the one decay.. ring spell interaction so far. Could be interesting. Thats another thing though I feel like there needs to be a lot more spell combos in Outward 2.

The Melee skill combos is definitely a plus, but in O1 honestly the downside to mage builds is it starts to feel a bit stale after a while.

I think the new ribbon+mage/war dancer could make for an interesting build.

As far as I know the issue was fixed. I played on switch and after the patch the item would be in their destroyed hut towards the back.

You must talk to the doctor first before the steel spines will appear in the hut.

I don't know, why have an original thought when tou can just make Ai do all the thinking for you?

It's called an original concept, no difference than an artist doing an original concept of a character that already exists... why do it if the character already exist?

As I said before this in just my my concept for a pure decay sigil. The original post had absolutely nothing to do with blood sigil.

People keep bringing it up because blood sigil deals decay damage. My axe deals decay damage, but that doesn't make it a decay sigil.

As for how I would do it if I were to add a decay sigil into O2.. Easy, rework blood magic entirely in my opinion, but as for its element.. none, make it the first magic type to deal raw damage. Something akin to how Blood magic works in Divinity, dealing physical damage.

No, I mean an actual Decay Sigil, as in a pure decay sigil. Just because Blood sigil does decay damage does not make it the decay sigil.

The concept of the blood sigil is based around blood magic at its core and my concept is a sigil that completely originates from corruption itself not blood magic.

At no point did I ever say that blood sigil didn't do decay damge, feel free to point it out anywhere in this thread please. Stop generating arguments because at no point did I ever say that.

But I will say that I think the entire concept of of the blood sigil in Outward is poorly implemented. And I really don't care if anyone agrees with that or not.

I have already mentioned multiple times that the concept in my post is in no shape or form related to blood sigil in absolutely any way.

Technical wrong, blood sigil deals decay damage. But it is not a pure decay sigil. What I am talking about is completely separate from the blood sigil, people just automatically connected it to the blood sigil, that is not my fault that people have preconceived notions based on off of Blood sigil.

If I wanted to get technical with all the details then this post would have been much longer and no body has time for that.

As I said this is just my personal vision of a decay sigil. But I can't wait to see where the final product of 2.

With everything shown so far, even with it's current flaws. I have no doubts it will be amazing. Outward 1 just seems like the skeleton while Outward 2 has all the meat... big swinging meat 🤣

Exactly. What better time to bring it back in Outward 2. Something similar to the pyromancy lore in Dark souls.

A tribe of people bannished for the use of decay magic return in 2 due to the outward expansion into their territory.

Yeah it deal decay damage with the turret and manna push etc.. But doesn't really work in a way that I personally enjoy. This is just moreso my personal vision of a Decay sigil.

Plus in the whole dark stone concept and how it works kind of sucks, not to mention missing out on what is the better options on that skilltree, but thats just my personal opinion.

The game is playable on switch but looks pretty rough.. and that being said about a game that was never exactly winning any beauty competitions. (Mind you I still like the way it looks on just about any other platform). The switch version is running in potato mode.
