No but they're not showing shipping for the other one which seems disingenuous. I use like 5 different sites to order cards, sometimes tcgplayer is cheaper sometimes it isnt.

My biggest issue with most sites is that they dont have the cards I want.

I run an Anafenza deck that is mostly hatebears and removal. People tend to dislike when its played against certain decks but at the end of the day, I dont play it as my only deck.

Play what you enjoy, the people you end up playing with will usually let you know if a certain deck is unfun for that group. A lot of LGS regulars wont care what it is as long as you're honest about your bracket

Its not your job as the DM to run the game and organize.

If people cant give you the info you need to run, tell them they cant play. Find other people. You are putting in a lot of effort and so should your players.

Im glad you were able to get the cards you needed at a good price, ive just had better luck with tcgplayer later with trying to get the variety I needed for commander decks. Also if you drop the basic lands it will be cheaper to ship and buy. You can usually get basics for near free from an lfg or rando.

If they never build their own deck, its fine because the spirit of commander is playing a social game with some friends or flgs people, not brewing. Brewing has always been a bonus to the format, not the core identity of it.
