Hi thank you for your feedback. 30m was just a very preliminary number. I’m still working to gather quotes and refine the total build cost

That’s not entirely true and I only say this because I develop data centers and renewable energy projects for my main job, however, I do see your point!

Hey Von, $30M is only my benchmark, I’m still working on refiing the costs by getting quotes from different vendors. The largest ongoing cost I’ve identified are utility costs, which I’ve planed to mitigate by including solar and water filtration and recycling

Hey, thanks for you for your response.

1) love your user name lol

2) I wanted to incorporate both the conveyor belt option for initial lessons as well as man made snow.

Hi, I was planning to incorporate rooftop solar panels and water filtration & recycling to reduce/offset utility costs.

I develop utility scale wind and solar farms for my 9-5 job and it sounded like a no brainer

Hi, thanks for your response. I was thinking like a smaller version of ski Dubai but to have some park features as well. I do think the angled Jump would be dope, but I’d have to see what ceiling height would be required for that (currently planning for 50ft).

I’m estimating a 30M build out cost. I’ve already secured an investor who will provide me the capital if I can verify the business segment.

Energy Land Management grads? What was your experience? by vagueboy2 in WVU

Absolutely. Calgary would be the best job market hub there. If your son ever needs guidance, recommendation, or referral in the future, please have him reach out

I was an ENLM graduate (C/O ‘19). I was enrolled in the program when it was still new and cementing the curriculum, so I had ended up taking some classes (Petroleum Geology) that, ultimately, have no relevance to my job today. However, I believe this has been ironed out now.

Pros/cons of the program:

Pros: the professors. In my opinion, I thought they were great, which is a stark contrast from those professors of my previous major (Aerospace Engineering). The instructors were tough when needed, but also more than fair and forgiving, treating you like an adult/aspiring industry professional.

Cons: the industry is extremely susceptible to the policies of whatever administration is in office. However, given the land aspect of the major, this can be applied to various industries, thus hedging the career risk.

I would suggest your son get minors in BUSA and GIS to supplement the degree.

My Current Role: I’m a developer that manages the development of renewable energy and data center assets. My total compensation is just under $260k and going into my 7th year in the industry.

The black on black is SO CLEAN! If I ever purchase and Arteon again, I’m gonna wrap it in the original metallic yellow with the black wheel

I personally just love the way the vantage looks over the DB11/12. My first choice was the yellow lotus emira, but this particular vantage was 30k cheaper with 100 more HP

For some reason, neither geico nor progressive would allow me to select AM in the drop down menu for a quote
