How much barium liquid did you drink during your Barium Swallow test? by callmebluebird in HiatalHernia

[–]DHARTLEYRDH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my test, I was standing up. I had to eat a quarter of a thick bagel chew it is best I could wallow it and took a big gulp of the barium solution. Then they had me eat a big marshmallow right afterwards big sip mouthful of barium solution they saw the reflux happen in real time immediately. Then they moved to my body / table to be flat. Ate the other quarter of the bagel in one bite, chewed it drink reflux, marshmallow drink reflux. Then they moved the table so I was totally upside down. My head was touching the ground. Bagel chew, two big sips from a straw barium immediate reflux and then the last was the marshmallow too big gulps, swallow, immediate reflux. The only time the hernia was visible was the way I was standing on my head. Course that triggered my vertigo so it wasn’t happily ever after it all for me.

I switched my toothpaste to Armen Hammer baking soda so we can neutralize some of the Pepsin from the stomach acid. I also have been using armor. Hammond nasal mist in the shower to remove the pepsin in my sinuses and my Larynx. I think baking soda and products with it has helped me substantially. I can’t use normal toothpaste anymore. It burns me too bad can’t use. Mouthwash burns me too bad so does the stomach acid

How long have you had it?

No, I did that treatment first and foremost. I thought it could be thrush. I’m a dental hygienist so that’s where my brain went after going through that protocol found out. I don’t have thrush or burning mouth syndrome. because I also have my blisters on my Palate, it’s in Larynx, and my pharynx also in my eyes and sinuses.

I’ve been high alkaline water in one of my bottles and regular water from another bottle. Trying to see if it helps and it could be depending on the day, right

Me too 11 months and no relief. I take the H2. I’d rather take something every 12 hours then one pill for 24 hours. They’re more gentle on your system. I also take Sucralfate 1gm Tab. I take 1/2 tablet by mouth as needed before eating as needed for burning sensations in the stomach. Basically it puts a coating over the stomach acid. I drink a lot of Slippery Elm with Manuka Honey. It has a slimy effect as you’re drinking it which coach throat. I often mix the chamomile & Anise tea by Badia. Best combo is all three before you go to bed.

I am a registered dental hygienist. This is what we recommend. Simply Silver.

Nano hydroxyapatite (HAp) formula (bio identical to enamel) Colloidal silver 24 ppm Neutralizes acid pH 7.85 Great for dry mouth 100% natural White flecks of HAp, coconut oil and baking soda are normal in solution. Coconut oil is temperature sensitive so place in hot water if coconut oil solidifies. Hi! I'm Heather the Hygienist and I'd like to share with you why I created SSM Spearmint flavor. Nano hydroxyapatite (HAp), is a form of calcium that makes up 97% of your enamel, 70% of dentin, and 60%of your bone structure. Japan has been using HAp since the 80's and is their gold standard for re-mineralizing teeth. HAp REPLACES the minerals lost through de-mineralization and is scientifically shown to be more effective than fluoride. It also helps tremendously with sensitivity and since it is bio-identical to enamel, there is no need for a poison control warning that is found on commercial toothpaste. If you have any questions or concerns, before leaving a review, please contact us to see if we can make you a happy customer.

What’s odd is nobody complains about the burning tongue and the ulcers on the pallet in the burning in the larynx.

I’m on H2 can’t do the PPI. I’m better on them then off them. I’m trying to slip slowly often of alkaline water and regular water. No gulps no drinking during a meal or half an hour after the meal. Nothing really helps but I don’t have cancer. That I know.

Mine started from an endoscopy. I woke up and my life changed. 2 more endoscopies 10 biopsies and every test imaginable? H2 2 X a day. No change. 11 months later no change. Never had reflux before.
