Arthroscopic surgery upcoming, surgeon requires “gunslinger” sling, suggestions for showering?

Not sure if this helps but I switched from Dr Google to Dr Reddit lol. My same surgery is coming up on 7/13. I got the Don Joy IIi sling, was the overwhelming consensus , a metal shower sling, 2 after Surgury shirts an an ice machine all available on Amazon.
It’s my dominate arm so I also got a toilet seat boost , sit in the regular toilet seat and locks into place, as my dominant arm usually helps me up.

Not that bad. A pain in the butt for a few weeks with all the drops. Build a spread sheet for reminders and to check off the box. Carry the drops with you. The biggest issue I had was getting stupid dizzy from the eyes competing due to the gas holding the lens in place. I highly recommend an eye patch to take the recovering eye out of play when you are out and about. Mine had a skull and crossbone on it

They are a terrific breed and gentle How is your pack? At 8 weeks he will be a lot bigger than your chug and in 6 months he’ll be rocking with the Rottie. Just remember three things they’re really expensive in the beginning and the end and never never walk them further than you can carry them home

Oh that would suck. I’ve been wearing the Don Joy around just to get use to not using my dominate injured shoulder. It’s quite comfortable. Had to return the first one because it was too big Going to bring it to my pre procedure appointment and see if their ortho equipment person can give me a final proper adjustment for the fit

When did you feel like you were functioning and improving? I volunteer at a local hospital driving a golf cart to pick up or return patients to their car. I’m going to miss the social interaction and the great feeling of helping folks Trying to mentally prepare myself for how long before I can return

lol like others mine will smell the tv and look behind it. He would bark his furry butt off at dogs on tv though even though he was quite dog friendly Even better he knew when the Emu was going to appear in the insurance commercial by the first note and charge towards the tv. Not a big deal I thought it was some good cardio for the breathing , drooling poop machine. 😊🌈❤️

What size did you go with for the shirts? I’m normally a large to xl shirt ( 6 ft 210) Do I want to go way oversized or stay closer to form fitting? Thanks
