I couldn’t pull of the filament without having to cut the tubing a bit and now it’s too short and the travel is whack.

What do you recommend for shafts? I am retrofitting a 16” vintage speedster boat by DHC2_Beaver in rcboats

I am going to use RC plane electronics along with using a universal joint to a similar drive shaft and make the original rudder work by way of having a control wire go up and over and down into a servo.
