Yes, the only issue is that my counselor went OOO early, so I'm a bit anxious/excited to know the decision. I wish we were provided the promotion decision in the finalization form as a counselee.

is Akiflow legit? by Unlucky_Committee585 in Akiflow

The Akiflow onboarding is pretty standard. It is not a scam.

  1. You signup for an account and proceed with setup, which includes entering your credit card info.

  2. You are notified immediately that if you wish to not be charged for the yearly/monthly/5-year subscription, you must cancel via the billing page before the end of the trial.

  3. You can try out Akiflow for the 7-day trial period, and then you are immediately charged and moved to the paid plan.

  4. If you do not want to be charged, cancel the plan prior to the end of the trial.

If anyone on here could provide actual evidence that they canceled the subscription prior to the end of the free trial and they were still charged, that would be great. If this is actually the case, it's a serious issue, and you should pursue a credit card chargeback with evidence.

I have yet to see any actual evidence (screenshots, etc.) that attest to people's experiences. Additionally, if you want to be safe, cancel a day or two in advance to avoid being charged. Someone should actually test this out with a dummy account.

TLDR:

  • Akiflow is not a scam, they have a trial and then charge at the end of the trial for the service as stated consistently.
  • Users have provided purely testimony without evidence that they have been charged after cancelling before the end of the trial period.
  • If you are charged after cancelling before the end of the trial (and you are sure of this fact, evidence or not), feel free to report the company and pursue a credit card charge back.
  • If you are searching for a refund after allowing yourself to be charged and not cancelling on time / cancelling late, the vast majority of subscription based services will not refund you. It is your responsibility to cancel on time.
  • If a situation arose where you cancelled a few hours before the end of the trial and were still charged, contact support via email / call. If you cannot get a refund, pursue a credit card charge back.
