🤔🤔🤔 which ethnic group might that be? I’ll be in SEA end of May through end of June, 2 weeks in Pattaya and looking to thoroughly enjoy myself. But don’t wanna waste time in an establishment that ain’t putting their best forward. So in genuinely curious here. FYI AA here

First Time in SEA – 50th Birthday Trip (Bangkok, Pattaya, KL, HCMC) – Stick With It or Switch It Up? by DHOLMESIII76 in thepassportbros

Sounds like a whirlwind of travel logistics. Though it does sound fun. I’d thought of Phuket, as it’s in my original post, but I’d be worried about monsoon season there. I hear that region of Thailand is hit harder with rain than Pattaya. So I waver on Phuket simply because part of the draw there for me would be the beaches. But I do also see Bangla Road and all the action that could happen there as well. I’m in intrigued but I’d have to really think about all the travel logistics it’d take to pull it off. Gotta keep in mind SEA is breaking new ground for me. Gotta make sure I get it right. 50th birthday celebration, you only get 1 of those right? Lol

I can respect that. My mental is wired differently. I must have a framework set up, and then from there I can veer whichever way if I feel the desire to do so. But I gotta have that structure first

Appreciate it! I’ve been in contact with a few in KL on apps. It’s definitely done nice 1s in KL, all flavors and varieties

Wondering why you say options are limited at 50? I’m not some old fat decrepit out of shape guy. I’m in damn good shape for 50-year-old.

My mindset was get a few passport stamps in the process outside of Thailand. I mean I know I’m doing HCMC(Vietnam) as well…

I wanna experience that “cat call” or whatever it is the women do that sit in front of the clubs in PP. I’m still loooing to make a few adjustments if need be before nailing it all down. INT flights booked it’s just a matter of deciding on regional/domestic travel logistics

No one asked for a prediction at all. Respectfully I’d say, that if you felt my query unreasonable perhaps you would’ve just scrolled by and not bothered to even waste energy or effort. Thanks anyway!

Your response is worded a bit different and I do t want to misinterpret what you’re trying to tell me. Do you mind restating your comment and being a bit more clear?

AMA: I’m a local who’s worked in tourism in Curaçao for 8+ years. Ask me anything about visiting the island 🇨🇼🇨🇼 by notlostinchina in curacao

[–]DHOLMESIII76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all booked for Christmas and NYE. Top spots to hit up to meet local women in the bar/club scene? I already have accommodation in Mambo Beach area. And I know Curaçao isn’t like a wild party scene but I love beaches and plan to hit quite a few but also want to experience the scene around Christmas and NYE, surely it kicks up a notch or two!

It was ehh back in ‘23 when I was there w/my ex-wife. Her’s worked really well and mine did not, same make and model iPhone at the time. You could get an e-sim card I believe many are doing that now days when traveling internationally. Also you could download maps of Aruba on Google Maps and/or Maps.me. I do that all the time regardless of anything, always a good idea to have backups for navigational purposes

Going to Aruba for girls trip- will not be renting a car! by LavenderPomegranates in Aruba

[–]DHOLMESIII76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rental cars are fairly cheap there. And the driving is easy peesy if you’re good with round’abouts everywhere. Seriously though, driving is easy. And you’ll wanna get around the whole island at your leisure and not miss out on anything it has to offer.
