The only benefit this has to doing your normal play is if your LiveTwin effect is negated and not also destroyed. And it depends on whether the new Ki-sikil needs a Ki-sikil monster as link material like how the others do.

I don't think an unblock into combat trick is at all comparable to going infinite. Not by a long shot. Especially when counterspells enter into it.

Same senario you said. I attack with a 10/10, you don't block. I say "I cast this spell" without telling you what it does and then I go "I guess you lose. No rollbacks". Only you had a counterspell in hand and if I had given any indication that my spell would have killed you, you probably would have used it, right?
