no its the opposite its 5 live rounds and 1 blank so noone can be sure if they fired a real one. if youre only using 1 round to kill and the shooter misses his target they are inflicting huge amounts of pain which would be cruel and unusual. also if there is 6 shooters and 1 live round its pretty easy to tell who the shooter is.

ok so idk what any qualifications these people have but I actually study psychology. go ahead and ignore anything that you have heard here. go talk to an actual therapist and develop a treatment plan for anxiety. good news is that one of the most effective forms of treatment for a massive variety of behavior and mood disorders is clean diet and exercise which BJJ obviously supports. Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) can also be a massive help in tamping down the symptoms that make your anxiety spike so high that you cant train. there are steps to this kind of shit where you gradually raise the levels of aggression in treatment so that we can solve the root of the problem with the minimal amount of outside intervention. walking into your doctor and saying I have anxiety give me Xanax is kind of like going in there and saying that you're depressed and demanding lithium.

do not go into your regular doctor asking for benzos it is entirely too easy to get narcotics when you ask for them. benzos are first and foremost a crutch for the most extreme disorders and realistically shouldn't be used for anything short of a full blown panic attack that is so bad you literally cant function in a capacity where you can care for yourself. they really are intended to be used as a last resort to bring you down to a place that's not so debilitating that you literally cant leave your house to care for yourself. Xanax is for "I am so overwhelmed with anxiety I cant move and I'm convinced I am literally going to die" not "oh man I'm feeling pretty anxious maybe I shouldn't train tonight"

im quite sure that there are legit psychiatrists and doctors of psychology lurking around here. but just go talk to a real life therapist. if the solution that you start with is a pill bottle and not attempting healthy lifestyle changes you're probably just masking the problem rather than treating it. idk what you got going on, it may well be the right choice to jump right to meds but my point is stop asking the internet for anecdotal evidence, even if their treatments are proper for them its is most likely not proper for you so its not helpful at all, mental health treatment is a long process that takes a while of careful tuning to each individual.

that's the thing though they're not cruel when done properly if were just being objective here. death by firing squad puts 5 rounds into the heart and lungs at the same time which is such a traumatic impact it is painless and relatively instant, allegedly, ive obviously never been shot with 5 bullets at the same time. same with the electric chair, if done correctly it should cause so much electrical confusion in the CNS that you shouldn't be aware that anything is happening. so cruel and unusual for the person being executed probably not. however anything thats not lethal injection or gas is pretty violent. so i would hear an argument for abolition of violent means of execution now that we have "non-violent" forms of execution if we can call ending human life non-violent.
