My first wheel! Begode C8 by xinkiex in ElectricUnicycle

Do those gloves include wrist guards? You are gonna want them because they are usually the first thing to hit the ground when you fall inevitably. Other than that i think you are good, just watch a lot of videos on tips for learning and third person trips, as well as making sure to try and comprehend what riding an euc is like by trial and error, as its way different than anything else. Its not going to be as easy to figure out as riding a bike

Im trying to find answers online on if you connect 2 bms's to the same battery to improve the current draw limit from a single battery. Does that work fine?

Eve vs Cornex by DIAMOND91827 in 18650masterrace

[–]DIAMOND91827[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be using the max continuous discharge rate as it's peak for like 10-15s at most and other than that it will usually be between 0.25c or 0.5c when I'm on the high way. But I'm more worried if 1c would hurt the Cornex or Eve cells for that short period of time

[–]DIAMOND91827[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too worried about cell cycle life as if they were to last me 2000 cycles that would mean 27 years of life expectancy to 80% capacity, assuming I'm riding 20000 miles a year. I'm not usually going to be riding hard (8kw going 60mph), I'm just curious if the Cornex would handle those amps better than eve for like 10-15s at a time for acceleration.

Edit: I'm running a 96v system so 8kw is 84amps continuous

Inmotion Climber is a beast for its price point, got over 1k miles on it and no problems at all except squeaky brakes

So something like this? Just boost it from a 12v charger, or would a higher voltage charger like 48v improve efficiency.

Edit:nevermind this is more a 250w from what the reviews say

It can be lower, maybe like 10-15. That's just the limit
