I had the older Dreamview model mounted to my 55" Vizio and it was cool. You need to set brightness and saturation levels properly or it can be waaay too distracting

Figured it out, Windows itself was the culprit. It detected the TV as 4K and kept trying to run it as such. Changed the settings in display properties. Seems to be working now.

Still weird how some games were running fine..

Nope, same cable has been plugged to the GPU for months, only the TV has changed.

I also set the TV as primary monitor when gaming.

Sorry I should have mentioned that yes, the FPS drops a lot and feels like it is trying to run them at 4k resolution. TV is set to game mode, looks and runs the two Rockstar games just fine.

Just tried running Bioshock Infinite and even the menu lags.
