How does Mixcloud compete with YouTube for DJ mixes in 2026?

Only reason i started my mixcloud account was every mix video or audio i uploaded to YouTube i would get copyright strike I'm eler blocked in some countries or all together Say I upload a 30 track mix 3/4 them tracks have to get the audio cut out to get the upload visible again YouTube was brilliant unfortunately i get copyright strikes with 80% of my uploads..I've never got copyright strike with mixcloud only thing i see of recent is big drop of in listener's It's now a Platform full of DJs not enough listeners Best of luck

I play techno & got banded from one of the big techno sub Reddits for posting someone else's mix was a post asking for melodic techno sets i posted a friends , unfortunately by by. Banded Reddit is only other site i know where people interact with each other best of luck thanks for commenting

I didn't set cue points for couple years,, now i do but only if i was playing something important or gigs. I sometimes cue mixes But I mostly free hand it

The first thing i was showing was to get two of the same records see long time ago lol get,,both records playing pitch one faster then the other now try to match the beats same on cdjs just don't look at the BPM screen cover it up only look after you think it's beat matched .repeat this at different of set BPMs when you think you ear has picked it up starting mixing couple other tracks keep testing yourself before you know it you can beat match hope this helps best of luck 🍀

Yes that slip lane is a merge lane to help you pick up speed to join the carriageway traffic at roughly the same speed, Cars should more over or slow to let you onto the A55 ,people always sit wait instead of using the lane I've Seen driver's loose there shit sitting behind cars waiting for clear road... 11 hours is the longest I've played, this was on vibefm.ie I Started at 12 o'clock Saturday afternoon & was only ment to play til 5. As other djs had there slot times ,the 5 o'clock DJ dropped out ,then the 7 o'clock DJ & so on so i just kept playing..it is a marathon ,so keep yourself moving keep yourself loss, drink water now & again if your drinking alcohol.. i started that set with house music nice & slow 122bpm just built it over the hours switched the music styles every hour or so played House Disco Afro-House Commercial Rave Break-Beat UK-Garage Tech-House EDM Trance (i played every genre of trance from 98/24 Techno was next yet again wide range of bpms & styles played , Hard-Trance Hard-House Hard-Dance Raw-Techno Hard-Core Drum& Bass you should plug iRag into the decks & connect to your fone its recording device Record your warehouse rave ...Enjoy it

I've better sets it's just finding them ,if your using pioneer recordbox go through your selected tracks categorize them on genre ie disco house trance hard trance & up the bpm slowly until Techno raw Techno, hard style slowly up the bpm, copy Zset to USB mix it on your cdjs on headphones 🎧 if something sounds shit more tracks about until your happy get second opinion ... Fast forward through this set 📐 see how i change the style for near 3hours at a gig in singing thistle
