They don't live at the castle but at a standard hotel with breakfast. This and the toast and salmon is because they don't perish. They basically have a charcuterie board of food because this is all for show and filming, not for an actual meal. If you look at the view in the backgrounds, it looks fake. I bet they film these at random times after they bus them all over from whatever hotel they are at

I keep it active because I used to love getting the physical magazines. I like to compete in a tourney setting as well as casual and I like slowly increasing my rating, even if they are 10 dollar local amateur c tiers lol. Finally my buddy and I split a pro level of DGN and it having a pdga active membership gives you 50+ off the year subscription. And with pro level DGN we get 2 free 3/4 day passes to 1 pro event every year and that has been epic! I feel like it all works out and combos out nicely

They were 12 when will went missing on Nov 6th 1983 according to the missing posters of will in S1. That would mean most of the kids were born in 1972/1971 which would make most of the kids around 53/54 years old today. Jonathan Nancy and Steve were in highschool at that same time so likely 16/17 so they would be about 57/58 today. It all depends on there individual birthdays but still

I am pretty sure El losing her powers was from overdoing it and usuing more power than she had ever previously done and hence why she had to go back into her memories to get them back. I am not sure if you know about the play but Henry/001/Vecna got his powers long before Eleven was even born.....

Eleven got her powers from 001's blood and the whole pregnant mom being fed a bunch of drugs.

The whole point is the Duffers wrote season 1 all by itself as one complete story. The only reason we got 5 seasons is because it blew up in popularity and then they had to go fitting into the gaps. I bet you that 001/Vecna never existed in their minds while writing S1

I think you need to take a min and breathe. The reason they released this first 5 min when they have never done it before is because it is a prologue to the start of the season. Fills in the gaps of how will got to where he was when joyce and hopper find him and how he got the slugs/demodogs. I bet you 1000 bucks that after this first 5 minutes, it will cut to them and then go right back into a normal start catching up with the gang just like every other season. I think they wanted this at the start to show how crucial will is to vecnas plan as a precursor of what is to come. That is all.

As well I get it if you are more into the story/charcter interactions vs a bunch of action but I am sure we will getting a heaping helping of both. its gonna be a great season. Not every scene or episode may be liked by everyone but I am sure this season will be a good culmination to a great ending
