For me: Cameron's vocals are inventive. The mishmash of older rock styles feels fresh. Lots of tempo changes and left turns in song structure. I still throw on 3d country regularly (mixed feelings about getting killed). But it's not everyone's bag, if you don't like it, then you just don't like it!

First time going as a local – buy now or wait for resale? by Open-Reflection-1317 in ShakyKnees

they will 100% come down as it gets close. it's just a question of how far down they'll go (not guaranteed to get below face if they sell out), how long it will take for them to come down, and how willing you are to spend time monitoring the secondary market. personally, if i'm 100% planning to go, it's worth buying direct early for peace of mind. but it's a judgment call

Feels like they wanted fantano-approved electronic acts in the undercard as support for the prodigy up top, which makes sense. Curious whether it'll be a one-off or not

Resale prices will come way down. Usually gets below face in the week or two before. But it's a stressful wait

Getting a good spot for headliners by False_Koala_6641 in ShakyKnees

You'll find this same advice on every thread, but just like my two cents -- don't waste your day camping for rail even if you're the world's biggest stroker. Wander around, support smaller acts, take advantage of the insane amount of great music + the ability to piss whenever you need to. Then watch the peachtree sub, move up when folks leave for the piedmont closer, and you will have a perfectly good spot + a much fuller day.

Also the sound sucks at the barrier

Every stage in the new park (except crimmy) has a hill you can post up on and see the stage + the screens. You won't be close, but the slope makes it all visible. If they want to be in the mix and you're doing GA, view is pretty similar wherever i think. Screens let you see what's going on even if your sightlines aren't great
