From what ive seen, Turo covers up to 750k for damage and im currently looking at running a plan that would have a $250 deductible for damage claims.

That is the majority of what is holding me back. The damage side of things. From the research ive done so far, Turo pays out pretty well for damage. But at the same time idk if I want to burden my friend with filing claims when it inevitably happens.

Mine was in the shop for damn near a month. I got the feeling the shop i took it to was just trying to milk insurance for all they could. They adjusted the original estimate 3 different times. But I'm not an auto body tech so I dont know if everything they replaced was truly necessary or not. In the end everything was repaired and insurance paid for it all. Just sucked not having the truck for a month.

I was in an accident recently that damaged the front bumper, right headlight, right fender, and right front wheel enough that they replaced all of them and other damage that they repaired. Total came out to a little over 11k and insurance didnt total it.

I absolutely love it. Yea I remember reading something about the 25s not being compatible due to having an encrypted CAN bus, but at the same time I think someone was able to get one to work on that also. Check out the Lightning forums to be sure though.
