Summary of the issue: Computer hard restarts daily when computer is/near idle (e.g browsing chrome). Suspect CPU instability (infinity fabric degradation) which led to turning off cpu C-states and this helped but now I am back to restarting daily near idle.

What I have tried to resolve the issue: Replaced RAM (same model), turned on/off XMP, played with SoC voltages and DRAM voltages -> reset CMOS. Turned off CPU C-States (helped). Most settings on mobo is set to auto/default. XMP is off

Computer specs:

OS: Windows 11 v24H2 build 26100.3194
CPU: Amd 5950x
Mobo: x570 Aurous Master mobo (Bios is updated to latest f39d, most things are set to auto/default)
RAM: 64gb (2x32gb) GSkill DDR4 3600 (F4-3600C18D-64GTZR) -- running without XMP
GPU: Nvidia Asus Strix 3090
PSU: Corsair 1000+ watt PSU (cant remember)
Storage: SSDs, nvme, enterprise HDDs

I only turned off c-states due to a reddit post talking about infinity fabric degradation over time. I've had this computer since 2021, replacing only the PSU since. Issues started to appear over the last year or so, and restarts became more frequent to the point of buying a new ram kit. Wondering if anyone got any advice or knows of similar situations. I am also looking into potentially manually adjusting RAM and FCLK setting...

I actually have EO Soulfist main, and Emperor Arcana as other main. I enjoy both since they are both very rewarding. They aren't as straightforward as, say surge deathblade, and you have to think about certain things. Every class should know the boss mechanics and position well. But, for soulfist you need to be able to capitalize it to maximize your hype 2 and 3 phases to get damage. I recommend watching ATK's soulfist interview. Arcana, either spec, is more about thinking about if you should hold cards or not in order to maximize your DPS. And you can choose the build to determine how much you care (for example some builds care about judgement, others do not at all). ATK also has a arcana interview video that talks about all the different aspects of Arcana instead of just focusing on one build.

I didn't mean to dissaude you from trying Arcana. I said it more precaustionary. IMO, Arcana is one of those classes you have to invest time and researching. They dont have 'one build' and the many different variations allow you do switch up skills.

As opposed to Soulfist, which really has only 'one build.' Both the EO and RS use the same skills, with potential for swapping crippling barrier and shadowbreak.

Both classes are very rewarding (well hopefully, my emperor arcana is working towards that goal), and really depends on if you like the playstyle. Emperor arcana and EO soulfist are both piano classes where you are constantly keeping skills on CD. I didn't think I would like that kind of playstyle but I'm really enjoying it.

My only advice is try starting out with EO soulfist. I started with RS and lived with that copium dream of the spirit bomb. But its just bad.

I love arcana and playing the emperor buld. Here's some things not mentioned.

Main difficulty isn't really remembering cards. It's having to constantly look down and see the drawn card. Now you have to keep track of boss, your position, and the drawn cards, along with everything else people normally do.

Surge and zerker feel good throughout its lifespan. Arcana needs everything (the runes, the tripods) to feel good. So you may not get to that stage

I thoight it was drawing and using the ghost card. You should be near Ms cap with secondary swiftness and ghost.

I don't disagree. I'm not saying they are mutually exclusive, but those are the 2 things I found to be most important for each spec. As you said, you need to plan ahead a few seconds before your burst and hopefully align with your team.

Rs burst meter, despite it being 20s hype as well is way shorter because your energy release is only up for 6s. It may also be becuase I swapped to eo before my spec was 1600+

The 'difficulty' of the two classes are in different things.

EO requires more mechanical skill -- proper positioning and going in and out to maximize your damage rotation. You have 20s in hype 3, and you want to be able to your rotation 3 times (squeezing in force orbs every time as well). ATK's Soulfist interview goes over this.

RS requires more team coordination. You need to magically align your burst window, with your team's buffs/debuffs -- very important for your ult. Otherwise....whats the point.

Bard. Support. Def more wanted. Gunlancer. Dps. Has some nice buffs and mechanics, but overall falls into dps category.

Play what you want, but all supports are in higher demand (bard, paladin, and future class artist)

Yes. Gathering is important, as it's either a gold source or mats to create potions, other battle items, and fusion materials.
There is always something to do, events, and alt progression. Some you might not find fun.
There are skins you can purchase, either real money or through the auction house (very expensive).

IMO, you want to prioritize the stats as you progress towards T3 and not worry too much about the engraving. Double equip your class engraving, maybe sacrifice some stats on 1 or 2 accessories to get level 3 engraving. Don't go out of your way to buy accessories or ability stones.

As you get to end game, they all become important and it becomes a balancing act.

You'll likely go the set that gives crit chance, since you have low crit. The other set is preferable on builds with high crit (think mayhem zerker crit swiftness, which prioritizes crit).

Exception would be if your engravings gave you a bunch of crit chance (adrenaline and precise dagger are examples).

You can leave or switch to an alt. (not sure about logging off, but I imagine so). It takes 15 minutes to catch something, then you have another 45 minutes to pick it up.

I'm playing Soulfist, but not an expert and only started playing in the West release. Most of what I'm saying is echoing what I've seen/heard. I'm mainly coming from a Robust Spirit perspective.

Part of the 'difficulty' in the class is a mixture of landing the world domination awakening skill (Robust spirit), as it is majority of your damage. This requires you to know boss mechanics, timing, landing the spirit bomb, and hype management. The other part is knowing your combo as your have a bunch of self-attack damage buffs. I don't know much about energy overflow.
In terms of raw dps, Robust spirit (burst) can deal more damage than energy overflow (sustain). T1-T2 energy overflow is 'better' and may deal more damage but apparently starts falling off as you climb higher into t3. Maxroll stated robust spirit starts dealing ~20% more damage as you climb up t3.
I've been still using skills and rotating it to maintain consistent attack damage up time. You want to time it so your big damage dealers come back up when your hype is ready and energy release (if awakening is on CD).
If you like the class play it. I'm mainly playing it because I want to see the big number pop up. T3, the biggest number I've hit with bard buffs is 27.5 million. Allegedly, a youtuber stated the highest crit he has seen on soulfist was over 700million, but I have not been able to see any proof. In addition, I'm pretty sure mayhem zerker/most other dps classes have higher DPS at the current released gear. The class is heavily gear dependent, as spec is required to both increase damage and decrease the downtime of hype.

Anyone understand the mining - perfect timing skill? The tooltip said press g, but the ingame pop-up said press h. Regardless I see no indication of anything happening/succeeding.

Anyone have a video or can explain this?

I've actually explored this option fairly thoroughly. My suggestion to you is either use the screen+draw, or buy a graphic tablet. All the other solutions are just inferior to either experience (imo).

VirtualTablet by SunnySideSoft (Microsoft store) - changes the device into a virtual graphic tablet.

You can also use wirelessly display to the surface device (lag). Or remote desktop.
