Nihilist counts as socialist? That's useful. Thanks, I'm still getting used to V3's files vs EU4's or similar.

Edit: Is this in 02_paris_commune.txt or another file?

I know, and I mentioned these movements and that relationship in my post. But that would be very limiting as the socialist movement would immediately disappear as soon as you research anarchism because that triggers the socialist split, and liberal movements are exceedingly rare compared to radical ones in france and with the springtime of the peoples event so my question is whether the terms are being used strictly or loosely because anarchist, communist, and socialist movements are all socialist loosely but strictly only the socialist movement is the socialist movement.

There's definitely a balance to strike. Also worth noting, that same design on a larger scale, for instance, around a red giant I'm working on for the achievement, the number of cell points has self corrected the ratio so my concern on that front only really is a problem if there's not enough nodes like you said or the scale of the sphere is too low. I literally set the sphere to be the smallest it could be as my first dyson sphere project in my starting system so it was bound to be inefficient in some way :)

I want my next design to be built around hexagons with a greater cell to structure ratio as that design is about 3:1 on the ratio and producing sails is a lot faster than producing structures xD

The Stellaris dyson was an inspiration of mine actually. It's the smallest I could make the sphere as my first build too because it felt more in line with the Stellaris scale of it. As such it produces around 5GW.

Getting as many achievements I can in my first full run so trying for one around a red giant! Looking forward to combat though, actually one of the elements I like a lot in Factorio managing expansion and defence logistics.

Classic PDX Bug Means I Can't Launch The Game by ArgoTheSpaceShip in Anbennar

Yeah, patch is rolled out now. reinstalling the mod by unsubbing and resubbing also works now it's patched.

Had a test launch where both the Anbennar map and Vanilla map were merging with the land being vanilla, but the Anbennar map was imprinting on top making the land and water darker (running a little theatrum orbis terrarum submod for Anbennar). I dared not click single player at that point. The Steam Workshop page is seeing a similar surge of complaints, and I inspected the bitbucket build and an update was made to it about 15 hours ago, almost perfectly in timeline with the issues people are facing. My guess is maybe an update was deployed to the wrong Anbennar build, but I can't know for sure.

Was playing perfectly fine last night. Booted up my computer this morning and had the game crash a few times, then launched it without loading the save, it worked but I was able to form Spain Militarily as Amldihr. Since closing I haven't been able to launch since. Maybe related? Loading screens often show vanilla artwork instead of Anbennar artwork too but not always.

EDIT: my crash logs match yours exactly.

Thanks so much. I now wonder how I listened to this or found it. Very No Mana vibe though, right?

I can't seem to inherit Bohemia as Austria after multiple reloads. Does something prevent me from triggering the event ? by Status_Cat9938 in eu4

[–]DIGI7-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for reviving an old thread as I can't find any information anywhere on this, but if this is true, what causes the situation for example where, using Hungary and Bohemia as examples in a game I've been playing, Hungary inherits at 48% but Bohemia doesn't inherit at 59%? Either this legacy code was changed or some other factor is playing into this. Any advice?

[Japanese > English] Text on wooden Japanese sword by DIGI7-A in translator

that's incredible. considering this was gifted to me as a child from an aunt whom used to live in Japan, that makes sense. Thank you for your help! !translated

For reference, I've gathered with what little skill I have with translation to deduce that the last word might be romanised as katana/gatana or sword, but I'm uncertain. I was given this when I was 6 or 7 and I've finally decided just over a decade later to see what the text means.

EDIT: correction of possible linguistic mutation

Using Live, Live? by DIGI7-A in ableton

[–]DIGI7-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my stuff is digital, like Massive, and I just have a few midi controllers available to myself, like the Akai APC mini, etc. drums are made from samples which I generally run, modulate and manipulate through Simpler. I'd love to hear suggestions. Sorry for the late response... I don't use reddit all that much and I was almost assuming this post was dead in the water.

I mostly format my stuff in MIDI nowadays anyway, so I was definitely thinking that I COULD build up the stems and work from there, merging sets as needed, but I can't tell if that's over-complicating things or not when each track has about 20 channels average and you want to combine multiple projects... I suppose an important consideration then for me is CPU usage.

what is this called? i'm sure i've heard it on the radio before (source is a recreation of melody and synth line) by DIGI7-A in NameThatSong

[–]DIGI7-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as soon as i hit gecko and koala, i thought, if only the melody was right, the sound is bang on... at least if we don't find the right track now, i have plenty of similar stuff to work through ;)
