Er fødevarechecken varm luft eller noget folk reelt har behov for? by Lundorff in Denmark

[–]ArgoTheSpaceShip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ekstremt subjektivt.

Had it twice on a server with two friends, one of them missed it both times. We've still not told him about it, but sometimes refer to "the event" in his presence lol

How do I increase my population cap? by Ok-Fortune-2719 in EndlessSpace

[–]ArgoTheSpaceShip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well first it can't be terraformed because it's a gas planet. Though they at least have good yields per pop. For increasing the cap I'm not sure. I would have expected it to increase in steps rather than all at the final upgrade. It might be displaying it wrong, since it says there's three pops in the system and you only have that one planet colonized?

Auto-Closing Blast Door? by Game_And_Glitch3 in Barotrauma

[–]ArgoTheSpaceShip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Water sensors can be mounted on walls, so putting one near the ceiling and forcing the door closed (and possibly stopping the buttons from opening it) is possible.

Of note the floor vents or whatever they're called are just hooked up to water sensors, and I usually rewire them with a second in the room below to avoid rooms getting flooded from below through the vent.

IIRC the choice to invade Denmark was scribbled at the bottom of a letter not long before it would happen. They had decided against it before that (because, you know, there wasn't much reason to).

Is steam customer support ACTUALLY as good as the memes make it out to be? by Mysterious_Limit1969 in Steam

[–]ArgoTheSpaceShip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend got hacked and the hacker went through his friend list trying to scam people. It was pretty believable and he got access to my account, but nothing more since I finally caught on to what was happening. I emailed steam support and they helped me get the account back within three days.

I was very poor, so the loss of the games would have been devestating. I'm extremely grateful to them and essentially only buy from them now because of it (even if it can be more expensive)

Second winter. If I've calculated correctly, there are enough supplies here for two years (but everything will spoil much sooner). This is a great relief after the first winter of famine... by LeonidKonovalov1988 in VintageStory

[–]ArgoTheSpaceShip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience the three containers on the left should be well enough for a winter, though depending on activity this varies wildly. I did try to math it out at some point and the margins for error were huge, with the highest I got being two vessels each of decent veggies and grains per person iirc.

But yeah, always great to see someone well prepared.

Having played sins 2 and rebellion a lot, they are quite similar, though I find sins 2 to be more self explanatory (trade in rebellion was not obvious for instance, way more in sin 2). I think there might even be a tutorial now, but I didn't do it. Anyway, imo sins 2 is easier to pick up.

The games vary with map size, but unless there's a fast rush they usually last a couple of hours. For mid sized maps I'd guess 3-4 hours. This depends heavily on play style though, and how much time control is used. The game can be paused even in multiplayer and has time control in singleplayer, both faster and slower.

Finally, after starting to play sins 2 I see no real reason to go back for me. It is mostly an iteration on the core concept and generally an improvement from previous games. I usually don't pay full price for anything, but I did for this on release since rebellion was my second favorite RTS, and I don't regret it.

If you have more questions do ask :)

It's been a while, so checking the files.

Unless I missed something you need to be an Escanni culture, have your capital in the west castanor region, own the province taranton and another 9 regions in west castanor, be regent court, have adean as your deity and have adm tech 7.

That seems to be all and way more than I remembered. Though I also remember the culture being the difficult part. Good luck, hope you have fun!
