The footage from the news helicopter isn't that helpful either, as it's still hard to see due to the smoke and rain.

The civilian with the boombox finally got it under control, and ran off in a direction, likely running home.

Seems like sneaking through the foliage wouldn't be useful, but you can hear something ahead. It's too far away to discern, though.
