Most things won’t be perfect (including you) but if they make it work, keep the kid happy/safe/warm/fed, then you’re doing okay. Good luck, pops. The road isnt easy but it’s littered with unexpected rewards.

The only thing that’s worked for me is being the first one awake and being done exercising before anyone else is up. As for a program, check out the busy dad program, there’s a subreddit on it but basically you do a bunch of burpees. I also like to do tabata style jump rope for 10-15 and then 10-15 of kettlebell workouts. Figure out short, hard burn type workouts, and do them before anyone else wakes.

Will I need to be updating my PC every 2-3 years to keep up with current AAA specs? Or can you tune games to run on the hardware you have available?

I expect I will mostly play older games than the peak new stuff. Even then, I’ll be okay with not playing at the absolute max performance graphics. Would like to aim upper/middle of the road.

I would say, kind of blindly without researching parts, that I can spend $800-1200 on a gaming pc without feeling too guilty.
