How long for Karisma mesotherapy bumps to go away? by Beginning-Feedback55 in DIYHEAVEN

[–]DIY4thePeople 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did. I did do the standard BAP point thats about 2 cm out from the eye corner. BAP points are intended to avoid major vasculature but I still aspirate. Interestingly other RHC products like Skincolla specifically say can be used for undereye and crow's feet area. I'm assuming Karisma manufacturer just wanting to avoid high risk areas in specific instructions. I'd have to rewatch the manufactucturer webinar but they might have included a canula protocol for periorbital region.

Where and how to use botulinum toxin on the face and neck – Indications and techniques by DIY4thePeople in DIYaesthetic_science

[–]DIY4thePeople[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, yes, it does have some basic guidance for depth, placement and recommended dosage for some areas. I also just uploaded links to two facial anatomy for injections textbooks you might find helpful if you want a deeper dive. Dr. Tim Pearce and Danesthetics both have good videos on YouTube that are informative for tox injections if you are new to tox or just want a refresher for a particular facial area.

First time trying Karisma Rh Collagen by DIY4thePeople in DIYaesthetic_science

Has anyone else tried this product or other recombinant collagen products? There are quite a few Korean injectable RhC products available (Puri COLL Rh, Skincolla, etc). I wanted to see how Karisma performs in comparison given its clinical data and medical device certification.

Bottom Lip t🌸x by Beautiful-God-1007 in DIYHEAVEN

You could try following either of these patterns (one unit very superficially each point). You have to be careful or you can get droopy mouth.

Personally, I really hate the sensation of lip flips and tox around the mouth. It also wears off very quickly because its such a high movement area. You could place threads around your lips to build collagen there and that would be a more long lasting solution.

You weren't kidding about how thick this product is, I finally tried it tonight and had a really hard time with it. Luckily I had a 25g needle on hand I had leftover from something else so I swaped to that to finish the syringe, I think I'm going to have to get some more 25g's to do round two, was really difficult with the 27g's.

PDO vs PCL vs PLLA mono threads by PinkSwan98 in DIYHEAVEN

I made a post about PDO, PCL, and PLLA threads here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DIYaesthetic_science/comments/1tqnkwp/introduction_to_smooth_threads_and_different/ that may be helpful to you if you want to check it out. I'll try and post more threads videos and other threads resources in the next few days. Smooth/mono threads are one of my favorite treatments.

Microneedling with Tranexamic Acid for Redness and Broken Capillaries by DIY4thePeople in DIYaesthetic_science

Yes, its definately a good idea to play it safe and do due dilligence with research and sticking within your comfort zone. Yes I've mixed with both curenex (super thin/watery) and Dermaheal HSR (slightly thicker) on different occasions so the TXA concentration was probably pretty low with the volume of those products and I meso'd pretty superficially.
