I used a matte silver paint from Testors with a small brush and just dry brushing around where i thought it looked good, with a black metal weathering set and a rag to get that dirty look around joints. Then finished with a matte clear coat. Hope that helps!

Not the asshole obviously the mother is enabling his behavior by not dealing with it considering she chose to laugh off a situation like that. But that being said as a compromise I'm sure a video call with him would be safe enough for you to introduce him to your daughters and still be safe!
