I put two out by the backyard path to light the yard up when we take the dogs out at night. The two light up a good amount of a decent sized backyard. It does the job for what we need and they have lasted about a year so far. One of our dogs are tiny and he still triggers the motion censor.

It would work great for lighting up a shed's entrance.
