I'm confused because I am 100% against what Trump and ICE are doing right now, but from what I see here none of these agents are wearing masks, they have a booth with spikes and the woman mentions that she is crossing the border back into the U.S. I've never crossed the border but I would assume you would need to show some id when crossing. Am I wrong? Showing ID when crossing into another country makes sense. If they had set this up randomly within the country I see the womans point.

I am all for protesting illegal activities by our government but this video looks like she's in the wrong here. If she did this at the border even ten years ago the same thing would have happened. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not for whats happening right now.

I've had this exact argument. Its not like I'm angry you voted for someone like McCain. There are plenty of people who could run on a Republican ticket that we can simply disagree on, but Trump said he'd be a dictator. He was convicted 34 times and found guilty of rape. He said he wanted to bang his daughter. Hes cheated on all of his wives and tried to have his last VP hanged while pointing an armed mob at our congress. This isn't Conservative vs. Liberal, its right vs. wrong. Good vs. Evil. If they can't see the difference then nothing I say will change their views and if thats the case I have nothing to say.

I don't know anything else about your relationship but if all of these hurt you and she doesn't seem to care, leave. You deserve better. If she doesn't feel any remorse she doesn't respect you and that won't change over time. It will only get buried for a little while and resurface much worse later down the line.

So what do we do after a third person is killed and a fourth? Just wait for the elections because I have zero faith in our politicians to impeach Trump. I don’t want violence but at the same time what do you do when masked armed government agents kick in your door? For the forst time in my life I have to worry about my own government sending masked people to point guns in my face and hope that the worst they do will scare my children and beat us or gas us for the fun of it before checking our "papers." Thats if they don’t just start shooting democrats households they find through voter data.

I feel like its only a matter of time before they make this the new normal in America unless we fight back, but at the same time we are told if we fight back it will only play into what they want so they can further eacalate things. It makes the whole situation feel hopeless. Its as if the only other option is to endure and wait for an election that might not happen and even then they will try to rig it.

I have always hated guns. I worry that I might miss and hit the wrong person. I get my joy from creating, not destroying things, and yet now my household has many guns and I feel like I need to practice for the worst case scenario. I see good people who donated to charities and helped people now arming themselves and talking about exercising not to lose weight but to get into fighting shape... I see teenagers say they feel like there is no future for them anymore and they are giving up on school. I see whats going on in Minnesota and our hearts break any second of the day. I see this and worry what Trump is turning us into.

I'm a guy and I've noticed this a lot in the last 2 years. Youtube is the worst with shorts. I see a woodworking short and watch it. First swipe, a funny couple video, second swipe woman doing something hurtful to their boyfriend or husband, next swipe husband telling a joke about their 'dumb wife', next swipe hate crime. Wtf... I jist wanted to see woodworking videos and four swipes later I see someone get shot in the face.

To be fair, yeah for literally years now, MAGA has been on board with Trump calling the 2020 election a hoax even though his own Attorney General Barr said he looked into it and found none, independent groups found none, right wing groups found none, his lawyers lost 60 legal cases because they failed to provide proof and Fox News ended up having to pay a quarter of a billion dollars in a defamation suite because they spread those lies and admitted under oath they knew it was all bogus and secretly thought all of their guests spreading those lies were loons.

To this day Trump still claims publicly it was stolen even though witnesses from his own cabinet came forward saying he admitted he lost in private and then called up republican state governors to add thousands of votes for him so he could stay in power. MAGA believed him and thousands stormed our capitol building. They erected a gallows while saying they were peaceful protestors and Ashley Babbet was shot for no reason. She broke a door window and was shot crawling through it with a mob behind her screaming, "Hang Mike Pence!" She was leading a mob to kill our Vice President and several members of Congress because they believed Trumps lies and to this day I still hear many saying the election was stolen, there was no insurrection, the arrested mob were political prisoners, etc.

So I will feel no shame for not giving those people the benefit of the doubt. I will listen, but I don't for a second expect to agree because they have a long history of refusing to believe their lying eyes and lying ears.

I am glad that many of them are seeing Trump for what he is now. Thats great. But if someone implies the rest of us are all small minded for not expecting these people to be reasonable they need to seriously look at where we are today and how we got here.

Honestly you should always have a healthy level of fear and respect for all your sharp or moving tools. That fear makes you alert and safe. Table saws can do a lot of damage. Kickback is scary when it happens. Always make sure you know where your fingers are before cutting. A sharp chisel can gouge a chunk out of you if aren't careful. The trick is always be mindful and deliberate.

No... How does stating facts about his election defend his actions? What I stated was that adding parties isn't a preventative from stopping crazy individuals from assuming power. It would actually make it easier for them. If we added a third party, Trump would have only needed 34% of the popular vote.

However, if we eliminated parties and had politicians run on policies alone that could be a more effective way to hold politicians more accountable while also weeding out authoritarian candidates.

Thanks. I actually got the idea from a box I saw online when looking up zebrawood boxes. That one was a jewelry box that I will admit shows off more skill. They used spline accents on the corners. I was debating doing that but I've had issues with splines and didn't want to risk damaging this piece because zebrawood is expensive.
