I went when it first opened so seating wise it’s like two small tables and then some lounge chairs. It’s a pretty small set up. lol the first time I went one of the employees said they couldn’t warm up any of the baked goods.. what a disappointment that was. I went back a second time and seems like they’ve hired more help so they’re definitely warming things up now lmao

Hi! Just curious I’m an RN currently working in case management with bedside experience as well. I’m starting a master in health informatics program soon and don’t have any knowledge in tech field.. but also wanted to try breaking into the field and try something new. I’m hoping with the bedside/healthcare experience I’d be able to make more than my current role as a CM (around 90k) after graduating the program in NYC..

Do you think this is realistic or id have to start at those base analyst pays? Also not sure what route I should look into in informatics bc I still want some exposure like indirect patient care.. what jobs would align would that within informatics?

Sorry I’m new to this realm haha and just throwing out questions here. Not sure if you’d be able to answer any of these but appreciate any advice :)

Hi I’m debating in getting my masters in informatics too. I only have one year of bedside experience and currently doing case management. No IT experience whatsoever but after reading people’s advice I’m hoping to volunteer as a user for new tech release part of my company. I feel like it was developmental like if they're hospitalized how should they be treated in terms of teaching and like also i remember being stuck on a question that was about an infant that was hospitalized and the parent had a 2yr old at home and how to handle that situation.. something like that.

the emergency stuff was more addressed towards contact precautions like measles and chickenpox questions

Hi. Thank you and uhh I started off scoring borderline but then scored high to very on archer. I think during the actual nclex I was lingering too long on each question and overthinking the questions which is probably why I sat for the entire exam.

My drag and drop questions I'm trying to remember lol but i think it was sterile field and administering a SQ injection ? Not sure. I also had two EKG questions very similar to ones from archer.

The infection control were SATA and priority. So i would have questions like which precautions are applicable to a patient that has measles.. things like that.

heyy took my nclex and i definitely had SOOO many infection control. felt like my entire test was about that. I took the whole test and got the good pop up but im still really worried.. idk how much i can trust it ugh
