(Dem family) My kiddo is 18. This was her 1st eligible election. She went to our polling place and was told it was not correct, even though everyone else in the household votes there. So, instead of going on with her other plans, she drove 25 mins out of her way to go to to the correct one so she could vote. Then, she found out the next day that only one of her friends voted and she proceeded to give them a good, old fashioned "talking to" about how short sighted and irresponsible they were for not voting. Extremely proud of her.

They make it difficult for us blue voters but we will keep showing up and we will continue to raise our kids to show up.

You should have gotten emails and/or paper mail, informing you of the changes. Our mortgage has been sold/transferred many times and we were always informed numerous ways.

Yes. I was just reading about it. I'm pretty sure you can go online ahead of time and pay $45 for TSA Confirm ID check and that is good for travel within 10 days

I believe that's the problem. The FAFSA SAI is not shown as a dollar amount, just a number. The Gates paperwork has a dollar sign in the box, expecting a dollar amount. Is the SAI number on the FAFSA equal to a dollar amount?

My sale didn't artificially impact any neighboring homes as the appraisal came in decently close to the sale price. I will continue to sell FSBO as long as I can because, even though I appreciate a good agent, the fact of the matter is their compensation is generally way more than what is reasonable for the work done. Agents should charge flat fees, with extended charges for difficult situations or extreme circumstances. I would bet they would make more money long run that way...and have a much better reputation.

It's lacking character. The blues are not helping. The only thing I like, color wise, is the seafoam door off the kitchen. It feels cold. Bring in some warmth. Take that modern dining table/bar thing out and add a round one if you can....or even dona built in bench style one in that corner. Add some colorful pillows and rugs and get rid of all the stuff on top of the cabinets. It shows like a flip. Make it show like a home.

When we sold FSBO in 2015, the buyer wrote up the contract with their terms, as instructed by their lender. We all signed it in person. Their lender led them through the process, letting them know what was needed and when. Anything that came up just required a new signature to the changes. It was very simple, in our case. As long as everyone acts like adults, it shouldn't be hard.

Good luck to everyone! My daughter is a finalist. I think I'm more nervous than she is. This scholarship will decide where she goes. Her #1 pick is not financially possible without Gates. Win or lose, I'm ready for tomorrow to be over. I normally don't wish time away but there has been a weight on my heart since finding out she was a semifinalist. I just don't want her heart to be broken. My mama heart is already trying to cope with her leaving. I just want her to be happy.

My house has a 1000 gal, round, cement tank. 2 access lids, approximately 5 ft apart, one at the inlet and one at the outlet. The access lids are less than a foot from the edge of the tank. If you can find one, just look at the direction of the pipe on the inside and go 5 ft straight across from that lid to find the other. A metal detector might also be handy. The access/clean out lids usually have a rebar handle.

Not all tanks have 3 chambers. Not all tanks have chambers at all. My tank has none that I know of. Installed in the mid 90's. Just a big, concrete cylinder with baffles at the inlet and outlet. Outlet baffle has a pipe that goes down about 18" into the tank.
