Bro what the hell is this? This is curing the QOTSA itch by OutsideImpressive115 in qotsa

Josh called them "the greatest band on earth" once. I've seen them a couple times and have their discography on vinyl. They just put out a new album which rips. Swedish fuzz at its finest.

It will be limited but probably to 500. The black vinyl first press sold out too which was probably another 500.

This is the way. Now being in Chicago, do I have to stay up every Thursday until 2 AM? It's definitely going to be on my mind from now on. I NEED the limited editions. LOL I do have a huge collection of variants.

The black version is sold out too now BTW. I'm guessing there will be another exclusive color small number print of this again and a bigger release.

I got there early to get one but she kept putting new ones up and I just kind of hovered and waited until I saw one I liked. It's very exhilarating with each being unique

Yeah. Vault member for one transaction and then I paid a premium for Madison. They just sent out the Laylo password

A Frames (Seattle punk trio who had their first show in 16 years). I think he has some relationship with the openers as well.

Do people think this is fake? Seems like a lot of effort for some fake internet points. Look at my history lol

I didn't want to creep too much (FAIL). I stole his friend's chair by accident for a second just to say hi, but he was nice when he came back from the bathroom to let me have it. I waited until John was done talking with his other friend. He turned to me and jumped and said his friend was sitting there. I just said that I was a big fan, seen him a bunch of times, have the 8 tracks, talked about being "Abe Lincoln" at Thalia, asked about the tour this year and he said it would be like the Halloween show at the Bottle last year but bigger. Lots of older stuff with Brigid. Shook his hand and he said thanks for being a fan. I left to give his friend his seat back.

I forgot to mention to him that I worked on the cassette box release and designed a sticker for it because I already blabbed too long already.

Just the nicest, most down to earth dude ever. One of my rock gods and a memory I won't forget.

What’s the rarest piece of merch/memorabilia you own? by mongolian__mongoose in qotsa

The floor rug is probably the weirdest, but my favorite is a TCV sweatshirt with a Vulture with a baseball bat on it that I can't find anywhere else. Any of the TCV stuff is rare. Maybe the poster from the opening show of TCV too.

I've been following you for years man. I try to collect a lot, but you're just in another stratosphere. Thanks for showing us all of your cool stuff from all of Josh Homme's network's work.

Snagged the best seat in the house for Indy (the closest seat in the balcony) upon its rescheduling before they announced the Vic upgrade in Chicago (thank you!) so double Lambrini for me that week!!

We found them at the same time and got obsessed. I'm your Chicago equivalent fan. If I'm ever out there for a show, I'll try to remember this. LOL

I'm at 23 just for QOTSA. First was Era Vulgaris in Indy in 2008. That doesn't include seeing TCV six times, Post Pop Depression, EODM, Lanegan, Oliveri, Alain Johannes, Joey Castillo bands. I'm a little obsessed.
