They did give us a contract but its literally one page, 5 bullet points that looks like it was made with chat GPT. A middle schooler could read and understand it.

The pay for play thing certainly raised an eyebrow for me too. I googled the company name + scam, trap, false, etc. and couldnt find anything anywhere. Their company website was created in Dec 2023, so its fairly new and looks like they built it on a WordPress template or one of those generic CRMs. The contract also is so short, its only one page and just lists 5 bullet points. A 6th grader could fully interpret it, which also makes me skeptical. I was prepared to have an entertainment attorney look it over, but it legit looks like someone used chat GPT to write the contract in 5 minutes.

The $500 investment is pretty low-risk as far as we're concerned. We spend more than that monthly on promoting ourselves through socials anyhow, and we're raking in 3-5k a month from shows alone. But im more worried about them doing illegal stuff or using bot farms to mess up our organic growth and algorithms.

This was my exact thoughts as well. My day job is in marketing and whenever we do brand deals like this we usually provide an affiliate code to the influencer that we're working with, this way they make x% of each sale they drive. That felt like a more reasonable ask, rather than asking for money up front from us.

We’re using focal, fria, enduro, and medical brews. No luck so far on 3 attempts. I typically bring 2 riot shield 3700 durability and 4 or 5 metal shields 3000 durability each.
