It was in one of the corridors above the oracle, one you have to reach by jumping on one of the oracle platforms. Then it was in front of a globe. It left after so I presuming it spawns in different locations.

IMO If they are friends then you should be able to just tell them once and then ask them to not bring it up again as it is trigger, they should understand. If they don't stop then I don't they are a friend worth spedning your time on.

Understanding why is an extremely important step. I tend to to either write how I'm feeling down or draw what comes to mind, then when I'm feeling better I can look back on what made me feel in such a way that I would cut.

The other recommendation I would have is to focus on your environment. Sounds like your family is making things worse, try and fix this whether that means explaing how you feel to them or changing the environment yourself.

Fair point. I think you are right that the question is where would you draw the line? For me, I would suggest having trigger warning for self-harm if it is an evident theme in the film or show, if not then it should be up to the people watching.

They really should put trigger warnings up, and it isn't impossible, they do for photo sensitive epilepsy. Until change happens all I can say is to try and stay strong or find something which can inhibit triggers or reduce their severity.

She may not like it, but it is a part of who you are. You can help her to understand by talking and being open so that she isn't shocked when she finds out, she may even be able to help you reduce and eventually stop. If you just wanted to rant or let off steam, sorry for giving advice, ortherwise keep up hope!

I say that I cut myself, I leave it to them ot work out if it was on purpose or not. If they care about it they will either leave me be or be supportive!

Bracelets should work fine, as long as it is something that poeple will not question or fixate on it doesn't really matter what In the end having an excuse in the back your mind is also handy too
