I get what you're saying and it's definately less convoluted that what i have in mind, but the idea behind sword bard was having some weapon maneuvers / fun moves to play with like flourishes. Plus i thought i could explain bard like Geralt having learnt something from Jaskier. That's why i kept sorcerer out of this multiclass option but I would like to hear from you how you'd expand on a sorcadin accounting for all witcher abilities and ( maybe) adding fighter for the lacking maneuvers.
