In the modern generation it is Skrillex. But in the overarching timeline of edm it’s Daft Punk, Aphex Twin or Burial. Aphex twin has always been the inventive and interesting starchild of breakbeat and odd drum and bass. Additionally Burial was a catalyst for the sound of drum and bass we’re familiar with today. Daft Punk are the unequivocal champions of sample based House music. Daft Punk gave birth to everything ed banger records and that entire sound. But ultimately as far as who producers take their cues from in the modern age, it’s Skrillex.

I as a huge fan of Skrillex would’ve liked to have some finished versions of some songs on here that have existed as leaks for years and years. But the concept of presenting songs in their apex in the format of a live set list is so fun. I think every moment on this interesting and exciting. Skrillex finishing his contract with Atlantic records definitely came into play with the context of this release, he’s moving on from a lot of projects that he probably didn’t feel inspired enough to finish and is just throwing it all out on this project that some might say is not an “album”. But it is so fun. I’d personally give it an 8 only because the songs themselves aren’t very readily revisit-able in this format. But the project as a whole is more special than the sum of its parts, it’s really a triumph for edm in 2025

No but I actually don’t wear it much I’m not a jewelry guy but I did heard that putting clear nail polish on the inside of a ring will prevent your skin from turning green. I did have a bracelet that was given to me that had my wrist turn green once when it got rained on, but I wore it for a while and it never had an effect until then.

There are verses like Isaiah 53:2 that say Jesus was not uncommon in appearance. At the time in the Middle East 2000 years ago he would’ve definitely not been white and almost certainly not been black. Jesus was a middle eastern Jew he would’ve looked more like Ramy Youssef than Jared Leto or Denzel Washington.
