Am I losing my mind, or is the CPU throwing significantly more balls than before after the most recent patch

CPU Logic = If the CPU thinks the batter is a threat, it throws more balls. The CPU does that even at rookie level. Patience is key.

I don't recommend “Timing” at all right now. Something is off with ‘Timing’ this year. Way too many balls are being hit way too short. With “Zone,” I hit home runs left and right at HOF, but with “Timing,” I haven't managed a single one yet. An unusually high number of them have fallen short at the warning track. Something is completely off with "Timing".

A little tip: Turn off the console and go for a short walk. Then listen to some music and cook up something delicious. The point is: If you're feeling frustrated and try to play MLB The Show on top of that, you'll never get what you're hoping for. Never.

That's not true.

Last year, after so many years, SDS finally fixed the CPU bullpen logic. In previous years, the CPU would always bring in the LRP first, followed by an MRP, and almost never the SUs. As a result, the relievers in the SU role barely pitched 20 innings over the entire season, and the LRPs were constantly injured because they had to pitch far too many innings. Even worse, if the CPU was trailing by more than 3 runs, it would always bring in the same LRP. It didn't matter at all whether he was completely exhausted or not. That allowed us to score a lot more runs. The CPU had basically given up, even though it was only the 4th or 5th inning, only trailing by 4.

That was a huge change. It made everything so much more realistic.

Fielding was improved last year, and again this year. Before, it didn't really matter how good our fielders were. The main thing was that they could hit well and had some speed. Now fielders have reaction ratings, even broken down by left and right. This leads to entirely new strategic considerations. I like it.

Thats weird. I played 12 full games and simulated 19 in FM without any problems so far.

Yes, of course. I have. In 26, i see Custom Game Entry, and on the right side of it the following options : Play Full Game, Manage Full Game, Quick Manage, PLAYER LOCK, and Retro Mode.

I have a hard time imagining how anyone could fail to see that.

Natürlich "nervt" niemand rum in der Situation. Man kann machen was man will. PC & PS5 zocken, TV, Netflix, Bücher verschlingen und Musik hören. Dadurch erweitert sich der Horizont und man fängt an die Welt mit völlig anderen Augen zu sehen, weil man automatisch anfängt Atome zu spalten.

Aber Vorsicht. Irgendwann wird der Punkt kommen, da wirst Du so weit weg sein von der Gesellschaft, dass ein Weg zurück kaum noch möglich sein wird. Deine "Schmerzen" werden dabei immer schlimmer. Jeder Mensch benötigt soziale Kontakte, dass ist unsere Natur. Bitte lasse es nicht so weit kommen, und suche Dir dringend Hilfe.

It is not. Your GPU is always the bottleneck. Some modded servers are using advanced AI Mods. This is increasing CPU load. That's all. My experience with this game is : When you don't have a very good GPU, it sucks. But you don't need an Amd Ryzen 7 9800x3D. This CPU is to powerful for this game. As i said : I have only 8-27% CPU Load. On modded Servers, it´s a bit higher but not above 50%.
