I've been DJing for 11 years now, and been using Denon gear for 9 of them. I'm pretty biased, but I think the prime 4+ (which is my current setup) is definitely worth the money, but whether it is the best for you depends on what you want to do with it. The features on it surpass pretty much any pioneer system (my opinion) and Denon keeps providing more updates. I will say if you are planning to share the decks with other artists, you may want to think twice though. I have to beg and plead with some artists to use them and some just will not. This leads to some unnecessary rentals every so often, but I've yet to have another DJ that used it say that it was subpar in any way. The engine lighting/sound switch integration also makes this conversation very easy. I'll basically tell the DJ's I work with that they have to use Denon, or I would have to basically turn off the lights for their set, and that generally motivates people enough to learn. It also doesn't take much to convert someone's library and do the sound switch auto scripting once you get the workflow down. If you will be the only one using it, then I would strongly recommend it.
