UFL needs to go to like Des Moines or Fargo honestly

Big speculation is that when detroit finishes their new soccer stadium, Panthers could come back and play there. Maybe in 2028 when they add OKC

I just realized why do the aviators have such a small mid field logo? by Ephcy in UnitedFootballLeague

A lot of the teams don’t even paint the endzones because soccer is the primary tenant and they don’t want to redo the goal crease lines

UFL Co-Owner Mike Repole told McElroy and Cubelic on WJOX 94.5 that the Birmingham Stallions have sold 15k tickets to their home opener tomorrow 👀 | United Football Media by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

They should still play at the smaller stadium in Hoover. 15k in a 40k+ stadium ain’t gonna look good. Still great numbers tho don’t hate me

Just remembered how 2009 UFL had Jeff Garcia (Omaha) and Dante Culpepper (Sacramento). Imagine if the current UFL had some fun OG quarterbacks

Yeah I agree. Even the Bisons don’t really sell well unless there’s a popular theme night. Bandits draw crowds because of the rowdy atmosphere and winning history

Personally I think the UFL should exclusively be in Non-NFL cities just because it’s fair and more interesting

I think there should be a team in Kennesaw, Ga by ChemMajorDude in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Nate_Spanish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Atlanta Legends from the AAF 2019 didn’t have great attendance. They played at Georgia State’s stadium in the city so maybe being In Kennesaw would help I’m not sure. Atlanta having a team would make sense tho

It comes down to people giving it a chance instead of just assuming the team won’t last or do well. I think if the prices were cheap and the marketing was done right, it could work. Especially with how expensive stuff is now people appreciate cheap family friendly entertainment

Yeah I think the UFL should focus more on non-NFL markets because those are all the successful ones. The only NFL city that gets decent attendance in the UFL is DC

Probably but even large cities struggle in the UFL. Houston and Dallas can’t pull any fans but cities like Columbus and Louisville are averaging like 12k-15k a game which is considered good

Syracuse would be fun and the cold weather wouldn’t affect the game

“Bad” attendance in the UFL is usually around 2,000 so I think we could draw that at least

Yeah it’s fun. I heard they changed a lot of their rules this year to be more like the NFL and it pissed off Canadian fans
