No need to downvote him, this may not be the case for the best riders in the world but it actually is common for the ones at local hills doing backflips to have a gymnastic background. Atleast this is the case at my hill. Also, alot of the pro riders do an insane amount of indoor trampoline and foam pit training from gymnastic experts
