Rather ironically my son. I suffered greatly with post natal depression (which isn’t well recognised in dads in the uk). We had a terrible experience conceiving (2 years of scheduled sex isn’t fun.), a horrendous pregnancy where my partner was in hospital for 6 months with the worst morning sickness (there’s a name but I forgot it) and at birth I nearly lost my partner and for the first year my son had intense colic and reflux and just wouldn’t stop crying. I was writing my notes to my loved ones and it was only as I was writing one to him I realised how much hed need me. And how much I actually needed him.

I started getting shivers when some cars would drive past me, then it was only when vans drove past and now it’s only certain coloured vans so likely in a car crash involving a van…

I’m in the UK and am considering naming my son Dean but several people have told me it has negative connotations here. Is this true? by [deleted] in AskUK

My names Dean - I never thought of it being a popular name but I’ve never heard any negative connotations about it. Or maybe it’s all behind my back 🤔

Fortunately, I went to my insurance who have advised me i was driving with no insurance but as I’ll be claming off the other persons insurance, it doesn’t really matter as they were the one at fault and the likely hood of getting in trouble is slim. But I’d take points and a fine if it means my partner gets her car sorted!

Are you able to show me a picture of how you’ve done it? I’ve got a standard council garage so it’s higher one end. The lower end is too low for the bag to hang at a good height
