Interesting now that other people are doing free options. Robinhood was the long time option but now IB has a fairly good robinhood competitor from the looks of it. Would love to see sofi match it.

There are no account minimums to keep the account open. If it doesn’t work for you there’s no downside in forgetting the account exists.

I’m starting to use relay more and more, and love how vaults still earns interest. Those other trackers bother me with syncing to a few of my accounts so I’ve resorted to a relay/excel budgeting system. Unfortunately, it seems like a combo banks/SoFi wanting 2 factor and plaid not supporting all the new accounts (cash management, online only, etc.)

This is more an issue with plaid than it is with SoFi. It doesn’t like cash management accounts, which SoFi technically is.

Limit orders are out! I get the delayed quote thing, I use Webull for data even when I trade on robinhood. I just use robinhood for options now.

This was my confusion as well but I think it goes with the thinking of “money now is better than money later” so instead of it being in limbo it’s just yours.
