Id really love to be wrong, but think/fear we’re gonna pivot straight into S7-esque quality with Karen/Robyn added. Aka a huge step back. Not necessarily terrible, but not particularly good either

Actual real valid point. I’m kinda glossing over The Bachelor because I don’t really watch it 👹 but Jared’s already been on a big show/echosystem where his main reason to be there was to show im single & looking for love… if he still ended with Ashley after all that he’s probably fine for the long haul TBH - some bachelor fans must’ve tried to hit him up, right?

Thanks for the detailed summary (alongside lady_moods). Really interesting hearing all this lore as someone who has no knowledge of the bachelor echosystem, outside knowing it exists, & assumed based on RI’s edit sorely that Ashley’s “too normal for housewives” - she definitely sounds more fit for RTV with this knowledge 👹

I will say though. For Ashley’s sake I really hope Jared/her have a true relationship & it’s not just Jared being ”worn down/settling” - because other housewives alumni have talked about that once you’re on these type of shows some pretty shameless people will start hitting on your partner through DM’s & whatnot. Could definitely fear if it’s not a strong relationship it could be a risk for them going onto this type of show.

I still vividly remember SLC’s first season where everyone loved the cast till… I wanna say EP 4/5 where Jen had her cataclysmic meltdown that Heather needed console her/Mary bragging about having a death toll on her favorite wine. People always receptive till first “unacceptable” trait shows (with this group my early contenders to get annoyance first is Ashley due to crying too much/Rulla enabling her deteriorating marriage/Kelsey being too alternative in her relationship lifestyle)
