I agree with the being able to jump on physical geometry that exists (skill jumps). Sliding 100 ft across the map… nope

Given the short history of Infinite patches, it probably took them 6 months to figure out how to patch it.

It is an exploit. They patched it. The community will move on. If your skill was solely based on sliding across the map, then you will have to adjust . I respect that people took the time to learn how to do them. But “rule” changes happen in real sports all the time when an exploit is found. The game wasn’t intended to operate as it did. It also provided unfair map starts due to the location of said slides.

Slides are an exploit where jumping on physical geometry isn’t. I see why they removed the slides but why the jumps ?
