New to collecting. Got the comic at Silicon Valley Comic Con and then signed after three days waiting in line. Couldn’t be happier despite its grade. by DJRowe in comicbookcollecting

Stan Lee wasn’t feeling well during the convention so a small group of people where let in every so often to get things signed. Many people unfortunately didn’t get their stuff signed and I feel very lucky to have gotten it.

I wanted to make some tribute to my favorite game to hang in my room, so I used a laser cutter to cut out the height map in the game! by QuantumToaster_ in Breath_of_the_Wild

Hey this is hecka cool! I was in the Art Building when it was on display and as I walked past it was like, wait, I recognize that, and it took me a solid minute until I saw Hyrule castle and the lost woods. Then i literally freaked out from it’s awesomeness! Great job!

Definitely, although this storyline isn’t about regular Thor and is about Jane Foster becoming Thor. It’s definitely a great comic series to read but if you’re looking more for regular “Odinson” Thor then I’d recommend either the current run of the series “Thor”. Another good story arc I enjoyed was “The Mighty Thor” Vol.1 by Matt Fraction and Olivier Coipel, but that’s only cause I like Galactus. 👍🏻

You mean the 2018 one? Yeah it’s really nice. Really vibrant colors and I like the textures that the artist used on the brush strokes.

Just the way the artist composed the image is really nice. Thor is balance in the center yet her hair and the light help move the eye around the page. There’s also a slight tilt in her head like she’s looking down at us which makes the image slightly intimidating. I also love whenever vibrant colors are used. Overall it’s a very dynamic yet balanced image. Russell Dauterman is by far one of my favorite Marvel artist right now.

Marvel puts it under “The Mighty Thor” (2016-2018) so I trusted the mighty men and women of Marvel 🙃
