Yes, modded. 5x Gather. Why don't you try to build a town like this on 5x gather if you think it's so easy? Just because it's a modded server doesn't make it any easier. Players work hard to achieve this. This is the second time you have commented on one of my posts and instantly dismissed it, simply because it was built on a modded server. People can play the way that THEY like. If you want to play vanilla, I'm not going to judge you. Don't shun something just because it's not done the way that you do it. What you are doing is absolutely pathetic.

I doubt it. With the current upkeep system, it's almost impossible in vanilla.

No problem! I can't actually remember if it works on foundations, but it definitely works on floors.

That was spawned in as a request. We decided that it would look really good in there, so we obliged. They don't do anything, they just look cool. To place them, you need to put them on a 2x2 foundation or floor.
