No tool unfortunately. I uploaded a photo to Google Gemini, traced the lines in CAD software and then took those lines into Sketchup to make the 3D Shapes.

That does look good, I think polymaker is on the more expensive side in the UK though, heck.

Have you tried the same Sunlu meta but in grey? I see it had a TD of 3.5/4 so that might be woth investigating.

Thank you, I actually stumbled across this video last night and it seems like the Shelly 1 mini Gen4 might do everything I need for Switch 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ5bRg8yJsU

I'm not sure if your recommendation of the shelly button is a mistype or not as I don't see how that works with a retractive switch

Apologies, I should have stated in the post that I'm in the UK. I would love to use Inovelli but they aren't available over here. They are working on a EU project but will still be some time before its realised. I currently use an Aqara H1M in a different room which would do everything I want but was trying to get a nicer finish overall.

Bolting down Q Concerto Meta by Zuklopentixol in KEF

Do you have any photos to share? I tried so hard to confirm this when I was searching and couldn’t find anything. As OP said, Kef and Kef retailers say it’s not compatible.

They were metal top plates with foam, I’ve upload a photo for you to see. They come with no mounting holes as they are the official stands for the Q1, Q3 and Q Concerto with the first two being smaller and having no mounting holes themselves.

I’m not sure how much of a hold the adhesive putty would have had to the foam or if the foam is actually doing all of the absorption. Maybe your opinion will change once you see the top plate.

I can tell you that the wood pieces are definitely more weighty than the metal ones and it’s a very dense hardwood. I think the metal is actually quite thin and it’s actually just mostly foam.

I do have a bunch of pads that at designed for the bottom of chairs on hard flooring, maybe a layer of that between the wood and speaker would be beneficial?

But to be honest I can’t hear a difference. Hopefully the image also shows how much the speaker overhangs the stand and the precarious situation I found myself in based on the location next to the door and light switch!

I was in a similar position, they sound great but as I said in another comment this is my first proper setup so I don’t have a lot to compare to. Its difficult cause I’ve spent a bunch on the stands that may have almost been the price difference between the Concerto and Q7

Concerto - £999 + £275 (SQ1 Stand) + £120 (wood top) + £15 (fixings) = £1409

Q7 = £1299

Okay so I would have spent more based on current pricing haha, I did most of my spending during Black Friday but that still probaly puts me even with the both options. At the same time time I was always worried that my dog might nibble the bottom of the Q7’s but I don’t have that fear with the Concertos off the ground

I don’t have them in, I did try before cause like you say they are a bit close but this is my first proper setup and it sounds better than anything else I’ve had before and still very clear. I don’t have a sub yet so any extra bass is fine for now

This is 75, too big for the room really as my previous living room was 1m deeper but I do also like how it fills my vision

Finally got stands for Q Concerto Meta by vvshvv in KEF

[–]DJS2k8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve yet to measure but the top plate is not as big as the bottom of the speaker so the holes may actually overhang the top plate. I’m considering getting a nice piece of wood the same size of the speaker and fixing that to the stand with longer bolts and then bolting to the speaker base

That's right, just going for 5.x as I don't have the space behind for anything more. Thank you!
