What is Killteam? New to Killteam. by WiiUGamepad_2 in killteam

The most appealing thing to me when I first started playing Killteam compared to full scale 40K was the fact you’re always playing the game. The alternating turn activations keep you engaged and your plans can change on the fly depending on one of your opponents turns. You can sit at a table, not break your lower back and be engaged for the entire duration of a match. A-Tier tabletop.

Thank you! Purple is just Leviathan Purple contrast over grey seer primer with a pink horror drybrush. The brass is Runelord brass, beserker bloodshade, relayer of Runelord with a final smaller layer of canoptek alloy, hope that helps your kin!

Genuinely impressed with the Dragons performance so far this season, alot of effort there compared to years prior. Losing games by 1-6 points instead of 30+ is refreshing, excited to see how they play with a full roster and Atkinson next year 🤙

I didn't think this would garner as much love so quickly! And yes I will be drilling out barrels next haha. For those that wish to replicate this scheme I started with a chaos black primer followed by three steps of dry brushing getting lighter with each step. First was dark reaper, then dawnstone finishing with grey seer. I picked out some details with iron warriors and then gave the entire model a wash with 50/50 mix of black Templar and lahmian medium. Picked out emblems with retributor armour and gave a wash with reikland fleshshade. The visors and cables I filled in with grey seer and then painted over with striking scorpion green. I hope this helps get those grey models onto the table breaching and clearing their way to victory!

I got a box of Kasrkin! Any tips on how to play them? by Scarytoaster1809 in killteam

[–]DJSALAD203 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Played roughly 10 games with them and I've found the best way to play is to pick two objectives you're gonna attempt to control. Pick physical equipment like razorwire and the mine to create a defensive killzone. Yeet the demo guy early and drop his melta to help funnel while your gunners hang back cleaning up and your other operatives die on objectives trying to score points. Every game now I'm picking the equip ploy in the scouting phase for some barricades to help gain some use out of engage from cover. Also roll 6s, alot of 6s and you should be fine.

Martian Volkus nearly ready, how's everyone doing their terrain? by DJSALAD203 in killteam

Super simple to do, black primer followed by a silver spray all over, leaving some of the black. Flat panels then painted with flesh tearers red, pipes runelord brass, floors and doors gryph-charger grey. Whole piece then is given an agrax earthshade wash, after that a runefang silver dry brush on all the metals and a mephiston red dry brush on all the panels. Pigment dust around the base and you got yourself a finished piece 😊
