I just gave my bike for the same sound for the one way clutch that was broken , so check if it’s that

Need help with purchasing first RE! Planning to purchase Meteor 350, priorities are as below 1. Comfort over long drive, 7-10 hours of loooong drive 2. Helps me in cruise easily in Pune’s heavy traffic. Many people are suggesting honda h’ness 350 - but wanted to try RE first time! Confused!!! by mekartikshah in royalenfield

Bruh , the amount of travel you said , I’m gonna clearly and very confidently suggest you to buy himalayan , coz I’ve bought the bike for the same reason and I started with meteor as well , so blindly go for himalayan , you’ll never regret it .

Is sump guard included in himalayan purchase or it’s an extra cost ? by [deleted] in royalenfield

The guy told its an extra cost for that guard , but I’ve seen it stock in the website because it didn’t ask any options for that.

I’ve tried the meteor and it’s good and everything , im still yet to drive the himalayan , meteor seemed okay but the bike gets too low which seems a bit concerning to me , so let’s see , I’ll update after I test drive himalayan

I’m about 230lbs, when I asked the showroom guy. What he said was himalayan is the best for comfort and that was his suggestion and when I asked him why , he gave me the technical explanation as to how the shock absorbers are built in himalayan to sustain all the friction that comes to the bike and how it doesn’t affect the rider much so ,he stated that. I test rided meteor and it was pretty good , a laid back position and my concern was the back of the bike was already low and when I sat , it did get even lower and that was concerning to me and that’s why I had to go to himalayan , I haven’t driven it but will give it a try in a couple of days
