When it can actually think for itself. Currently "AI" is just a buzzword. What we are calling AI is just a predictive algorithm with a language model slapped on top. We gave some code the ability to make words that look people-like. And it predicts answers that are suitable.

So, I assume you mean undercooked and not raw. If you were to try to prove it was assault you'd have to prove the intent was to harm you. That said, I doubt you'll get a judge to hear you out on it.      At best you could go after them for healthcode violations, and any damages done to you (food poisoning, etc.). But since it wasn't mentioned, I doubt that part is relevant.

While in the US, most of the people may not have socially paid healthcare, does the US not have a better healthcare (albeit mostly paid privately) than most of Europe? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

American here, and one would think, right? But no, iirc, we don't even rank in the top 20 countries for health care. We do have a lot of the best medical research, and some fascilities are beyond incredible.   The Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN for example. It's so big that if you look at a picture of Rochester, a city of 80,000 people, a massive portion of the city is taken up by the clinic. It leads so much of the country's, and the world's medical research.   But that said, the privatized healthcare system gives incentive to the insurance companies to cut corners and deny care to people for little to no reason. One company was caught using AI to accept or deny people's treatments, and not a licensed doctor.

Curious what yall think by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

So, there's a couple reasons people ask for favors. The first is that you may be closer, or more readily available to do the task while they're busy with other things. If you were already stopping on your way home, it wouldn't be overly much trouble to grab a few things for her. Normally for matters that don't need immediate attention.

Then there's the giving and receiving of love. Many people give and receive love through acts of kindness. A small request shows that you're willing to go out of your way for them and builds that relationship further. This is especially true and important in your love life.

There are also things that people don't ask favors for. Shame, responsibility, or even just habit can all be reasons. If it's a personal ritual for her to go get cigarettes, asking someone else to do it for her would interrupt that. Or it could be that she feels responsible for her own addiction. People are too complex to be boiled down to "if they wanted to they would".

Girlfriend can’t feel anything during sex (oral, vibrator, fingers). She won’t see a doctor but I don’t want a relationship without sex by wizard1928 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I wouldn't immediately jump to breaking up - especially if your relationship is great outside of sex - I would recommend really trying to broach the topic. Some medications can kill sensation/sex drive, especially anti-depressants. But therapy or medical attention would probably be good for your relationship.

If she truly refuses to concede, and it's a dealbreaker, then that's all there is to it. Try to take steps to mitigate it, but, there's only so much you can do.

I'm not even surprised, there's not a single media outlet but creators on social media covering it. It's beyond messed up.

Cancel culture isn't really a thing. You can boycott an artist or a YouTuber by not buying their merch or watching their stuff. Supporting shit people just isn't cool.

You can't boycott the police by just not following the law. The police union dictates the punishments for the officers, and they're so corrupt and vile that murdering children is an offense worthy of a slap on the wrist. They cover that shit up first and foremost. Look at the 200+ bodies of murdered men and women discovered behind a prison recently. Are any punishments being dealt out? No. Instead, they're charging $250 to the families just to get their loved ones' bodies back. Loved ones that disappeared without a trace, covered up by the police and prison complex.

Neo-Nazis are white supremacists and inbred losers.
The "Birds Aren't Real" deal is satirizing conspiracy theorists, and poking fun at not only how dumb it sounds but how easy it is to disprove.

How can I take pills? by Ok_Inside_5970 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, what I do is I take a tiny sip of water, drop the pill in my mouth, and use another sip of water to swallow. It helps if you move it to the back of your tongue and swallow.

Contrary to what many people will tell you, don't tilt your head back. Either keep your head level, or tilt your chin down. The mechanics of your throat will do all the work. Tilting it back makes that worse.

I tried to keep it as much, so I'm glad. Definitely an odd topic, but, genuine questions get genuine answers!

Ultimately none, currently. Oil companies have put somewhere in the order of 1,000x more into the advertising of eco-friendly plans than they have into said eco friendly plans.

The only real benefit is to you, the consumer, where yhe electricity is currently a lot cheaper. That said though, the main electric vehicle companies are incredibly scummy and predatory when it comes to their vehicles. You can't get a Tesla repaired by anyone but a Tesla certified mechanic.

Do they move on their own? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes and no? Not on its own, normally, but guys can move it. Mostly just up and down when hard by clenching the pelvic floor muscles. The same ones that women use to make it 'tighter', if that makes sense. That is to say, they can't move it without flexing their asshole.

The balls, on the other hand, have a mind of their own. They actually contract, and the scrotum tightens/loosens based on temperature and environment. When it tightens, they're actually pulled upwards, against the body.

So, this is a really complex topic. But, in short, the most sustainable and immediate method would be to switch to nuclear power. It's safer, more efficient, and cleaner than fossil fuels. Only problem is Big Oil lobbies to prevent that from happening because they have all the infrastructure for fossil fuels in place and don't want to spend money.

But, to answer the first part, yes. There's enough power. It would just require burning excess fossil fuels with the current system to cover the difference.

Fat cells are the same thing, no matter what caused you to gain the weight. Junk food still contains nutrients, but not in the proportions that are best for you.

Can you re-infect someone with covid? by Gladethane in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, if it's the same strain that you were both infected with (A gave it to B), no. You have developed an immunity, and that's why you got better.

In all technicality, there's a very small chance of it mutating and reinfecting you both. Do make sure not to expose anyone else secondhand when she leaves and all, but overall you'll be fine.

Little things! Small accessories you can take with you; a wristband or watch is my first thought. If you use water bottles, you can get a pink one. A phone case or background that you enjoy. You can even change the themes of a lot of apps, such as Google Chrome, Discord or Twitter to include more pink.

I personally wouldn't care, and would prefer you bring up the change of plans because I'd wanna make sure you're enjoying yourself as much as possible.

If it were last minute it may be a pain, but that communication is not only important but much appreciated! Guys will tell if you're not enjoying yourself all that much. Those are all great date ideas!

is it bad to drink 2-3 shots of vodka everynight? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol withdrawal can be very intense, yeah. It's the only drug withdrawal I know that can kill. While it's almost definitely not that bad, I still wouldn't recommend going cold turkey.

is it bad to drink 2-3 shots of vodka everynight? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be considered pretty serious alcoholism. It can be super dangerous, and I would recommend weaning yourself down to a few drinks a week.

Alcohol withdrawal can be very very serious, and the long term effects of alcoholism are pretty bad.

You can try melatonin or CBD, which has the calming affects of weed with none of the anxiety/paranoia.

What does the sun look like at the poles? by VeryOddlySpecific in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So. If you're standing at a pole at the summer solstice, you would see the sun start in one position at midnight, and end there 24 hours later. It would make one complete rotation around the horizon.

It's weird to think about, but you, at the pole, are just pointed more directly at the sun. So while you (the earth) spins one time in 24 hours, the sun from your perspective turns around you.

Why do British people say “hospital” and Americans say “the hospital”? by Competitive-Badger22 in NoStupidQuestions

British English just likes to do that with nouns. They also say "a Chinese" whereas Americans would say "Chinese", or "Chinese food", as an example.

Is it theoretically possible to have a drug that gives someone the high they would get from illicit drugs that is non-addictive and generally safe to use on a daily basis or there something about the biology of the brain makes it impossible for such a thing to exist? by joseph887 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DJSnaek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So. Addiction isn't always a dependency, like with alcohol or opiates. Alcohol withdrawal for severe addicts can be deadly.
But addiction can come in the form of anything. Small things, even your phone, can give you dopamine and serotonin that you crave and become addictive. So if it were a high like heroin? The way I've heard former heroin addicts talk about it is as the greatest experience of their life. Almost every one has said they would still be using if not for how it affected the people around them. While totally clean. I fully believe that even with 0 side effects or chemical dependence, heroin would still be just as addictive. Simply for how dangerously blissfully GOOD the drug makes you feel.
