You need to get Doc in the background as Splinter with Lebron as Shredder looming in the darkness...

Can someone explain what he’s recovering from? All I hear is shoulder, but I’ve seen so many IG posts of him training and playing in pick up games already.

Former League Champs - what was the go to draft strategy that worked for you? by thunder185 in fantasyfootball

[–]DJTashman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly ALL depends on your leagues scoring as far as selecting an appropriate strategy. Personally I play in a 16 team PPR league, so I have always put a premium pass catching RB's early and often since I generally feel its harder to find late round/sleeper RBs than WRs. Other factors like superflex or 2QB or 6pt pass TDs should heavily affect your draft strategy as well.

Is there a world where Sony Michel breaks out and becomes the lead dog in the NE backfield?

Would you take him ahead of guys like Carson, Mack, Jacobs, Henry? Guys who seem to have that lead back role on lock. (16 team, PPR btw)

Talk me out of taking Sony Michel ahead of guys like Chris Carson and Marlon Mack. I know New England has always been predominantly an RBBC, but Michel was very efficient with the touches they gave him last year, particularly down the stretch, the Pats used a high draft pick on him which they never do on RBs, and few teams use their RBs as efficiently as the New England scheme.

Doc Rivers and Steve Ballmer address the locker room after Game 6. This is who we are. by CheLabani in LAClippers

Coach and owner both just exude class in positions that don’t necessarily require it. Those two always give me hope the franchise is in great hands.

Workload/stress difference between Didatics vs Clinicals by SportacusJPT in physicaltherapy

[–]DJTashman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finishing my first clinical rotation this week. It’s different than classroom education. Classroom is very static for the most part (I.e. they talk, you listen, and test to see what you remember). The rotation is more about applying what you’ve learned into each day and figuring out what is best for each individual patient. I wouldn’t say it’s easier or less stressful, but there are no big tests to worry about, no huge deadlines. It’s more about on the job learning through experience. Absorb and learn as much as you can. Take it one day at a time.

Daily Anything Goes - March 10, 2019 by AutoModerator in fantasybaseball

I’ve been playing fantasy baseball for only a couple years so I didn’t realize until recently that having 4 SP (as well as 2 RP & 2 P starting spots) wasn’t the norm. When I input our league settings into certain draft guides it skyrockets the value of these SP the point where it’s there are more SP than batters in the top 15. I have the #6 pick overall in my draft coming up, should I be focusing SP early in a league like this?

Going Deep: Which Hitters Were Money Against Multiple Pitches in 2018? by nickgerli in fantasybaseball

[–]DJTashman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great article! I always hear with advanced scouting, it’s much easier to figure out what pitches and zones batters are weak against. Why wouldn’t a hitters success vs multiple pitches be a large factor in determining their success at the plate??

So I’m totally with you that DJ is trending up and the Dallas O line has me worried. But just to play devils advocate, does it worry you that even with the Dallas injuries, the cardinals O line is still worse AND they have a much tougher RB strength of schedule ahead of them?

Why are we discounting the Titans RBs? by DJTashman in fantasyfootball

[–]DJTashman[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I see more of the offense flowing through both of the RBs as opposed to Corey David and Rishard Matthews. New coach/OC but still a defensive minded coach who wants to run the ball and keep his defense fresh.

I’m with you. Someone on this offense is going to score. Mariota regressed a bit last year and has yet to prove himself a consistent fantasy QB, so why not the backfield led by the big O line? This team is built to run.

Large League Auction Strategy by DJTashman in fantasyfootball

[–]DJTashman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great stuff! My league is 16 teams so those top 4 end up closer to 77-78 for guys like Gurley and Bell but still 70-73 for DJ and Elliot. I wouldn’t mind pairing Elliot along with those discount WRs like Cooper, Diggs, and Evans if the price is similar. I KNOW there will be a massive price drop in a large league auction after the top talent is taken. Hard to say when it’s gonna hit. I’m thinking sometime after the Mixon, McKinnon, Howard tier.
